Yes — pet hair removal is one of our most-requested add-ons, starting at $65 per vehicle. Embedded hair in carpet and seat fabric is worked loose with dedicated tools rather than just vacuumed over, which is why it takes real time and is priced as its own service.

Often, yes. We run Monday through Saturday and most appointments are confirmed within the hour — if a slot is open, we can frequently detail your vehicle the same day you call. Weekends fill first, so call in the morning for the best shot at a same-day slot.

Most food, drink, mud and pet stains come out of cloth with hot-water extraction and pre-treatment, which is included in our Interior Full service. Stains that have dyed or bleached the fibre itself — ink, dye transfer, bleach — are permanent, and we tell you which kind yours is before we start.

Light scratches and swirl marks that live in the clear coat are removed with machine polishing — that is paint correction, from $450. Scratches deep enough to catch a fingernail have gone through the clear coat and need touch-up paint, not polishing. We assess honestly on arrival.

Exterior Standard: $70 (small) / $85 (medium) / $100 (large). Exterior Full: $150 (small) / $175 (medium) / $200 (large). Both are exterior-only — you are not paying for interior work you do not need.

Exterior Standard is upkeep: hand wash, wheel cleaning, bug removal, spray wax, windows and tire shine, in about 1–1.5 hours. Exterior Full is a reset: it adds iron decontamination, clay bar treatment, engine bay detail, a 3-month sealant wax and trim restoration, in 2–3 hours.

Exterior Standard runs 1–1.5 hours; Exterior Full runs 2–3 hours depending on vehicle size and condition. Both are done at your address — we bring water and power.

Run your fingers over the paint after a wash — if it feels gritty rather than glass-smooth, contamination has bonded to the clear coat and washing alone will not remove it. Clay bar (included in Exterior Full) shears that layer off so wax and sealant can actually bond to the paint.

Every 4–6 weeks for Exterior Standard keeps a daily driver protected through Houston sun, lovebug season and pollen. An Exterior Full makes sense a couple of times a year, or before ceramic coating or paint correction.

Mostly marketing. Nearly all "graphene coatings" are ceramic coatings with graphene additives — they apply the same way and protect the same way. Independent testing shows far more variation between good and bad prep work than between ceramic and graphene formulas. Whatever the bottle says, the result comes from the paint preparation and the installer, which is why our package includes a machine enhancement pass before the coating goes on.

Our Paint Enhancement + 7-Year Ceramic package is $699 — that includes a single-stage paint enhancement pass before the coating goes on, applied to all painted surfaces. Houston shops commonly quote more for a comparable package. We come to you. LabShine is fully mobile across the Houston metro — your driveway, garage or office parking lot. We bring our own water and power, so nothing is needed from you. There is no shop and no drop-off.

Our professional-grade ceramic coating lasts 2–5 years with proper care and maintenance washes.

Wax sits on top of the paint and burns off in weeks, especially through a Houston summer. Ceramic coating chemically bonds to the clear coat and lasts years. Wax gives you gloss; ceramic gives you gloss plus UV, chemical and hydrophobic protection that survives the heat.

Plan on a full day for the appointment. The coating then cures for 24–48 hours, during which the car should stay dry and ideally under cover. Wait 7 days before the first wash.

Ceramic coating adds surface hardness that resists light scratches, but it is not scratch-proof. It significantly reduces the chance of light swirls from washing.

Houston is close to a worst case for paint: extreme UV, months above 90°F, high humidity, hard water, pollen season and heavy summer storms. Unprotected clear coat oxidises fast here, and hot panels let water spots etch instead of sitting on the surface. Coating is more worthwhile in this climate than in most of the country, not less.

Paint correction is the process of using machine polishers and abrasive compounds to remove defects from a car's clear coat — swirl marks, scratches, water spots, oxidation, and buffer trails. The result is a mirror-flat finish that reflects light perfectly.

Yes. Swirl removal is what a single-stage correction is for — those fine circular scratches come from automatic car washes and improper hand washing, they sit shallow in the clear coat, and machine polishing removes them outright rather than filling them. If swirls are the only defect, that is a one- or single-stage job rather than a multi-stage one, and it is priced accordingly.

Yes, and that is how we do all of it. We bring our own power, lighting, polishers and compounds to your driveway, garage or office car park anywhere in Greater Houston. The one thing we need is shade or a covered space — polishing in direct Houston sun makes compounds flash off before they finish working, so a garage, carport or shaded driveway gives a better result than a sunny one.

Paint correction removes defects within the clear coat. Deep scratches that have penetrated through to the base coat or primer require touch-up paint, not polishing. We assess your vehicle and are transparent about what can and cannot be corrected.

Carpet extraction is hot-water injection followed by immediate vacuum recovery. It pushes cleaning solution into the carpet pile and pulls the dirty water back out, rather than scrubbing the surface and leaving the water behind. You need it when dirt has worked below the surface — traffic lanes that stay dark after vacuuming, spilled drinks, pet accidents, or any smell that comes back a day after a surface clean. Extraction is included in Interior Full.

Most of them, yes. Coffee, soda, food, mud and pet accidents come out of cloth with hot-water extraction and the right pre-treatment. Ink, dye transfer from new jeans, bleach marks and anything that has bleached or dyed the fibre itself are permanent — the colour is gone, not covered. We tell you which one you have before starting rather than after.

A vacuum removes what is loose on top. A deep clean removes what is bonded underneath — steam into seams and vents, extraction through carpet and cloth, conditioner into leather, and enzyme treatment for odour at the source. In Houston humidity the difference shows up as smell: a vacuumed car smells fine for a day, a deep-cleaned one stays that way.

Usually. Odour lives in whatever absorbed it — carpet padding, seat foam, the headliner — so masking sprays fail and surface cleaning fails with them. We extract the source material first, then run an enzyme treatment that breaks down the compounds causing the smell. Smoke odour that has soaked into a headliner is the hardest case and sometimes only improves rather than disappears; we say so up front.

Yes, within limits set by Texas Transportation Code §547.613. Front side windows must let more than 25% of visible light through. Back side windows can be any darkness, and the rear window can be any darkness as long as the vehicle has outside mirrors on both sides. Windshield tint is only allowed above the AS-1 line (or the top five inches), and no window film may be red, amber, or blue or more than 25% reflective.

On front side windows, the darkest legal film is one that still passes more than 25% of visible light — in practice, a 35% film. On back side windows and the rear glass, any darkness is legal, including 5% limo tint, provided the vehicle has outside mirrors on both sides.

On the back side windows and rear glass, yes. On front side windows, no — 20% is below the more-than-25% light transmission Texas requires there. The common legal setup is 35% on the fronts with 20% or darker behind.

Texas allows darker front tint with a signed statement or prescription from a licensed physician or optometrist documenting a medical need. Keep the documentation in the vehicle — it is what you show at a traffic stop or state inspection.

Standard full-vehicle tint starts at $150 for a small vehicle, $200 for a midsize, and $250 for a large vehicle or SUV. Ceramic full-vehicle tint runs $250–$350 depending on size. Add-on services like sunroof tint or tint removal are priced separately.

Standard dyed film darkens the glass and cuts glare, but most of its heat rejection comes from the shade itself. Ceramic film uses non-metallic ceramic particles that reject infrared heat directly, so even a light ceramic shade keeps the cabin markedly cooler, will not fade to purple, and does not interfere with GPS, phone, or radio signals the way metallic films can. In Houston heat, ceramic is the upgrade that pays for itself.

Leave them up for 2–4 days. The film needs that time to cure against the glass; rolling a window down early can peel a fresh edge. Light haze or small moisture pockets in the first days are normal and clear as the film dries.

It is quoted per vehicle, and the number depends on four things: how many vehicles are in the fleet, what type they are (a service van is not a box truck), how often we come out, and whether you need a wash cycle or a full detail. A weekly program across twenty vans prices very differently from a monthly detail on six executive cars. We quote after seeing the fleet rather than publishing a rate that would be wrong for most of them.

A fleet wash is the recurring maintenance cycle — exterior wash, wheels, glass, and a quick interior wipe-down — designed to keep vehicles presentable on a schedule. Fleet detailing is the deeper service: decontamination, interior extraction, and paint work. Most fleets run a wash program with detailing scheduled periodically, or before a vehicle goes back to a lessor or gets resold.

No. Everything happens at your lot, yard or facility, and we bring our own water and power. Vehicles never leave your site, which is the point — a fleet that drives to a wash bay is a fleet not earning while it sits in line.

Yes, and for most fleets that is the deciding factor. We schedule around your operating hours — early mornings before drivers take vehicles out, evenings after they return, or weekends. Recurring programs run daily, weekly or monthly.

There is no minimum. We work with three-van service companies and with dealership lots. Volume pricing starts once there is enough regular work to schedule as a program rather than one-off jobs.

Recurring fleet accounts are invoiced rather than paid per visit, with a single point of contact and service reports covering what was done to which vehicles. The details are agreed when the program is set up.

It is quoted per vehicle, because it depends entirely on coverage. A front-end package — bumper, hood edge, mirrors — is a very different job from a full-body install, and panel size varies enormously between a coupe and a three-row SUV. Tell us the vehicle and which areas concern you and we will quote it.

Quality film is measured in years, not months, and the better products self-heal light swirl marks with heat. Lifespan depends on the film, the environment and how the car is maintained — we will be specific about the product we are installing when we quote.

Modern urethane films are far more UV-stable than the older generation that gave film that reputation. Yellowing today is usually a sign of a cheap film or a very old install.

Yes. Professionally installed film is designed to come off without damaging the paint underneath — which is the whole point for lease returns and resale.

Yes. Film installation needs a clean, controlled environment, so we work in your garage where possible. We will confirm what the vehicle needs when you book.

It is quoted by length and by condition, not from a fixed menu. A 24-foot boat with light oxidation and a 38-foot coach that has sat outside for three seasons are entirely different jobs. Give us the length, the type and roughly how long since it was last done, and we will quote it.

Usually yes. Chalky, dull gelcoat is compounded back to sound material, then polished and sealed. Very severe cases where the gelcoat has degraded past its usable thickness are the exception, and we will tell you honestly if that is what we find rather than take the job.

Yes — that is the normal case. We are fully mobile and bring our own water and power, so the vessel or coach does not need to be moved.

Yes. RV interiors are closer to a house than a car — upholstery, hard floors, cabinetry and a bathroom — and are quoted as part of the job.

More often than the generic guidance suggests, because of Houston UV and heat. Protection applied once and then maintained is far cheaper than letting oxidation return and paying for correction again.

It is quoted per aircraft. Type and size drive most of it — a single-engine piston and a midsize jet are not comparable — along with whether you need exterior, interior or both, and the current condition. Tell us the type and base and we will quote it.

Yes, and on many ramps it is the only permitted method because of runoff containment. Dry wash lifts soil into an encapsulating medium and removes it panel by panel rather than rinsing it away.
