What Fleet Washing Costs

There is no honest single number for a fleet car wash, and any company that gives you one over the phone is quoting a vehicle they have not seen. What we can tell you is exactly what the number depends on:

Fleet size. Twenty vehicles on a route costs less per vehicle than three, because the travel and setup are amortised across the visit. Vehicle type. A sedan, a cargo van and a box truck are three different jobs. Frequency. A weekly programme prices lower per visit than an occasional clean, because a maintained vehicle takes a fraction of the time. Scope. A wash cycle and a full detail are not the same service.

Tell us the fleet size, the vehicle mix and how often you want us out, and you will get a per-vehicle rate — usually the same day. Request fleet pricing or call (346) 452-9991.

The cost that is not on the invoice

A vehicle driven to a wash bay is off the road for the round trip plus the queue. Across a fleet, weekly, that is the largest line item in keeping vehicles clean — and it never appears on a bill. Mobile service removes it: we come to your lot, work through the fleet while vehicles sit where they already are, and nothing leaves your site.

It is also why we schedule around operations rather than the other way round — before drivers take vehicles out, after they return, or at the weekend.

Wash programme or detailing?

Most fleets need both, at different intervals. The recurring wash keeps vehicles presentable and protects the paint from Houston's UV, hard water and pollen. Periodic detailing handles what a wash cannot — interior extraction on high-use vehicles, and paint correction before a vehicle is resold or returned to a lessor, where appearance moves the price. For vehicles kept long-term, ceramic coating makes each subsequent wash faster, which lowers the cost of the programme itself.

Questions We Get

How much does a fleet car wash cost per vehicle?

It is quoted per vehicle, and the number depends on four things: how many vehicles are in the fleet, what type they are (a service van is not a box truck), how often we come out, and whether you need a wash cycle or a full detail. A weekly program across twenty vans prices very differently from a monthly detail on six executive cars. We quote after seeing the fleet rather than publishing a rate that would be wrong for most of them.

What is the difference between a fleet car wash and fleet detailing?

A fleet wash is the recurring maintenance cycle — exterior wash, wheels, glass, and a quick interior wipe-down — designed to keep vehicles presentable on a schedule. Fleet detailing is the deeper service: decontamination, interior extraction, and paint work. Most fleets run a wash program with detailing scheduled periodically, or before a vehicle goes back to a lessor or gets resold.

Do we have to bring the vehicles to you?

No. Everything happens at your lot, yard or facility, and we bring our own water and power. Vehicles never leave your site, which is the point — a fleet that drives to a wash bay is a fleet not earning while it sits in line.

Can you work around our schedule?

Yes, and for most fleets that is the deciding factor. We schedule around your operating hours — early mornings before drivers take vehicles out, evenings after they return, or weekends. Recurring programs run daily, weekly or monthly.

What size fleet do you take on?

There is no minimum. We work with three-van service companies and with dealership lots. Volume pricing starts once there is enough regular work to schedule as a program rather than one-off jobs.

How does billing work?

Recurring fleet accounts are invoiced rather than paid per visit, with a single point of contact and service reports covering what was done to which vehicles. The details are agreed when the program is set up.
